Children’s Mental Health Week 1st - 7th February
This year’s theme for Children’s Mental Health Week is ‘Express Yourself’.
That means finding creative ways to share your thoughts, ideas and feelings.
Maybe you’re a budding artist, a dancer, a photographer, a writer, an actor or a comedian. Maybe you’re a whizz with technology, a super singer, a gymnast or mad about sport.
It is important to share these talents that make you feel good about yourself and express who you are.
This week, every class has been set a lesson on ‘The Colour Monster’. He learns how to manage his feelings and to express his emotions. Your teachers cannot wait to see what crafty ideas you have for this challenge! We love that, even though we are all apart right now, we are still able to share this story and our Well-being theme of Managing Feelings and Emotions together.
Check back on this page and the website later in the week to see what children from P1 all the way up to P7 have designed!
