Important Update Covid 19

We have just received an e-mail from the Minister of Education Mr Peter Weir, informing us that schools are to remain open at present. As a result of this, school will be open on Wednesday as planned. Children and staff will continue to wash hands more often and we would ask that no parent enters the school building, but should ring the buzzer for attention. Please remember to follow Public Health Agency guidelines at all times on www.publichealth.hscni.net/news/covid-19-coronavirus. We would ask that you notify the school if you or your child show any symptoms or are diagnosed with Covid-19. This will enable us to inform PHA confidentially and they can advise us of any further precautions we may be required to take. We respect any decisions by parents who wish to withdraw their children for the foreseeable future due to health concerns and appreciate it is a very worrying time for everyone in our school community - parents pupils and staff. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. This is a very uncertain time and we need to work together for everyone's health and wellbeing. S McArdle
