P5 are Saving the Planet One Day at a Time
26th Apr 2021
We have been learning about climate change and discussing ways in which we can help to leave the world better than we found it.
One thing we found very interesting is that plants prefer rain water than the filtered water we have in our taps. We looked at ways that we could collect water to use around school in the various plant pots.
With that in mind, we held a waterbutt competition. We used empty milk bottles (thank you for collecting these, Emily) to make our waterbutts and we think they look great!
Well done to Berri, Shannon and Amy who won the yummy edible prize for their waterbutt.
