Congratulations to Spain who won the latest lunchtime football league in St Joseph's PS. In the closest competition to date in the lunchtime league Spain prevailed when their closest challengers Germany failed to win their last game. The children were presented with the cup and prizes in assembly and the new teams were announced for the next league.
The new lunchtime league for Term 2 has already started and will be in the theme of premiership teams. The format has changed slightly with the top four teams at the end of the league going into semi-finals and a final. This format should keep all teams interested right up until the last games and prove even more exciting than before. Once again the boys and girls from P7 will be responsible for refereeing and organising the fixtures.
