P3&4 decided that our school needed brightening up and thought it would be lovely to have more plants outside. We didn't want to go down the usual route of using plant pots...we thought welly boots would look much more colourful. We drilled holes in our donated welly boots, added some gravel in the bottom, compost on top and finally the flowers. We think they really brighten up our school gate!
